It has been an exciting hour since registration opened, 44 of the 60 available places in the TransPortugal Garmin have been snapped up by racers from around the world in the first minutes. Top countries were Portugal with 14 registrations, USA with 10 and 6 from the UK. We have a couple of new countries on the map with 2 registrations from Russia and 3 from Trinidad!

Once again there are going to be many familiar faces in the field with 13 repeat racers, several of which are coming back for the 3rd or more time!

Not a lot of ladies yet with only 5 female registrations, we hope a few more will raise to the challenge in the coming hours.
